Sunday the 26th of September – Fair City Aquarist Society Open Show and Auction

Fish entries from 10am with judging starting at 1pm (USA rules). Public viewing when judging is complete with presentations shortly after. This is generally around 4:30pm.
The auction starts at 12 noon. Some of the rarest livebearers and catfish in the country will be available at keen prices. Fish suitable for a community aquarium will be sold for prices typically less than half of that found in the shops.
Some examples of fish that will likely be for sale:
- Bristlenose catfish
- Gold laser corycats
- Flag-tail panda corycats
- Lambchop rasboras
- Red-eyed red swordtails
- Endler’s guppies
Also various cichlids, killifish and plenty of plants and second-hand equipment.
Canteen facilities are available.
