Apologies for the late update but I’ve been on holidays and I wanted to wait until I had the show results to post. Thursday 6th May was the first Table Show of the new season. Because of the delay I may well have missed out some stuff. If I have just leave a comment at the end.
There was no Society business other than a chat about this year’s Open Show and Graham Geddes had a couple of fund-raising ideas up his sleeve.
Whilst the judges went about their duties Mike Dewar showed some of his rarer fish and we had a general chat about them. From memory there were some interesting Zacco species, a nice group of Rhodeus (bitterling), some rarely seen Hemigrammus marginatus and one or two others which have yet to be identified. Very interesting Mike, thanks!
Peter had more of his healthy plants which fetched a couple of quid per bag. John had guppies and Endler guppies. Graham had some rare Girardinichthys multiradiatus which went for a fiver for a bag of four.
Thursday 20th May and John will be showing a video.
